Youth Ministries

The mission of Trinity Church’s youth ministry is to establish a foundation for building Christian character, morals, values and behaviors in our youth. Our leaders strive to excite, inspire, and ignite young people for Jesus Christ. We endeavor to help youth develop an understanding of how to live out their faith in everyday life, and assist them to serve in their community and beyond. Trinity’s youth ministry exists to enable young people to understand and recognize who Jesus is, and what it is to live for Him.

Youth Ministry Programs

Confirmation

Pastor Cherie and Confirmation leaders are inviting all 7th and 8th grade students to be part of our new two-year confirmation program. The Confirmation group that will begin in September 2017, will be confirmed (if they choose to make that commitment) in Spring of 2019.

School-year Calendar: Confirmation class will be held on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays from 9:15-10:30 AM. We will meet for discussion on the 1st Wednesday evening of each month, from 6:15-7:15. Confirmation students will also be involved in several service projects and worship activities through-out the Confirmation program.

During summer vacation, we will come together for some fun events and service projects to stay connected through this faith journey.

Our Confirmation team is led by Mitch Bethke, Jacob Holl, Carrie Vujnovich, and Pastor Cherie Forret.

High School Sunday School

HIGH SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL IS BACK!! Our High School Sunday School will be offered to youth in grades 9-12. Class time will be 9:30-10:30 AM. Leaders will be directing our high school youth through a Bible study series that invites teens to learn the essentials of their faith, own their story, and engage the world in serving Jesus. Josh Tyjeski and Kyle Nehr will be leading our High School Sunday School. Curt Zimmermann will be helping grow this program as a consultant.

Middle School Youth Group

Middle School Youth Group is designed to provide opportunities for youth to share Christian fellowship with others, participate in service projects, and deepen their faith, while making friends and having fun. We will come together for Bible studies, games, service projects, and special events. Middle School Youth Group will meet on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday of each month, September-May. Youth group will be held from 6:15-7:15. During the summer, we will also come together for some fun, Christian activities!

High School Youth Group

High School Youth Group provides an opportunity for youth to connect and reach out to Jesus and each other. It is a fun and relaxed group activity format. We will have a mix of Bible study, games, food, special events, and offsite activities. This is a great way to get connected with other youth in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. We will be meeting once a month for fellowship, fun and faith development. During the summer, we will also come together for some fun, Christian activities!

Youth Mission Team

The youth, along with young adults, plan and organize an annual, week-long summer mission trip. Previous trips have included travel to Tennessee, Arkansas, North Carolina, Florida, South Dakota, West Virginia, Michigan, Montana, and Louisiana.

These mission trips provide an opportunity to spend time working with God’s people in need. Participants return with a changed perspective and a continued desire to serve.

How can you support our youth?
